HOC is undergoing a new strategic planning process to help us better understand the needs of our community. This process is designed to create a five-year strategic plan that will detail HOC’s mission, vision, core values, key priorities, new initiatives and expanded programs that will increase affordable housing opportunities and related services to low- and moderate-income households in Montgomery County.

WHAT IS A STRATEGIC PLAN AND WHAT DOES THE PROCESS INVOLVE?|
The Strategic Plan is a public document laying out HOC’s mission, vision, values, and key priorities for the next five years (2023-2028). The process involves hearing from all HOC stakeholders including:
- HOC Board of Commissioners
- HOC Staff
- HOC Customers
- Montgomery County Government Officials
- General public
- HOC affiliated nonprofit partners
- HOC vendors/contractors
Feedback from so many diverse stakeholders will help HOC draft a strategic plan that will effectively and efficiently address the needs and concerns of our communities.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Stay tuned for news from HOC in the fall. We will be sharing how your feedback was incorporated into our strategic plan.
